Now Faith Women’s Ministry (Women Of Faith)

Women of one mind, one body, one soul.

Philippians. 2:2- “Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ”

Purpose:

The Mission of the women’s ministry is to develop relationships, where we can fellowship with each other. Where an environment is created where women can grow in mind, body and spirit. Our supporting scriptures will come from Philippians. 2:1-4. As we strive to do as the scriptures mention we do so unified in our efforts to uplift Christ. By uplifting Christ, we aim to decrease self, uplift the less fortunate and encourage each other.

Now Faith Youth Ministry

Training the Church of Tomorrow

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

The purpose of the Now Faith Youth Ministry is to train the church of tomorrow while reaching out to the youth within the church and within the surrounding community. To provide fun and enriching activities that will continue to encourage our youth to seek God and the church instead of negative peer pressure and negative activities. Also we will strive to teach the youth about God and the redemptive love through his Son Jesus Christ in a fun and exciting way.

Now Faith Nursery Ministry

Purpose: This ministry is designed to provide a service to parents with young children ages Newborn to 4 years old. While parents are enjoying their worship experience at Now Faith, their child (ren) will be properly supervised and cared for by the Nursery Staff.

Now Faith Education Assistance Ministry

Purpose: The Education Assistance Ministry is a ministry that focuses on the concerns about the education of the Youth at Now Faith and surrounding community. This ministry will assist with developing a tutorial time, college prep exams if needed, and some financial assistance as they leave high school and enter college. This ministry will work closely with the youth, which will allow them to determine future needs.

Now Faith Dance Ministry

Purpose: This dance ministry focuses on enhancing the worship experience through praise movement. This ministry is open to all Now Faith Youth ages 5-17. It will also provide spiritual instruction to enhance the self-esteem of each participant.

Now Faith Senior’s Ministry

Proverbs 8:11

"For wisdom is better than jewels; And all desirable things cannot compare with her.”

Purpose:

The Mission of the senior’s ministry is to reach out to other seniors through fellowship and worship. As the Jewels of Now Faith, the senior’s ministry will also strive to encourage, train and uplift those younger serving in ministry. This ministry will also strive to create an environment where seniors can feel welcome and not well come as if they are invited unintentionally.

Now Faith Hospitality Ministry

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

PURPOSE: The Hospitality Ministry will support Now Faith Members and the surrounding community. This Ministry will interact with other ministries in the church. This Ministry will consist of members who love the Lord and people and will perform their tasks with Love, Compassion and Empathy for all.

Now Faith Men’s Ministry (Men Of Faith)

“Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.”

Proverbs 27:17

PURPOSE: The ministry vision is to create an environment where the men of Now Faith can share, learn, and grow to become better men of God through prayer, study, fellowship and service. All men members in the church are automatically members. Join us as we learn about each other and God’s plan for our lives. This Ministry will strive to encourage each other and also reach down to uplift the next generation of men.

Now Faith Christian Education Ministry

19 -  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 -  teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. Matthew 28:19-20

Purpose: The Christian Education Ministry is to provide teaching and training to the Now Faith Church family and community. This teaching ministry includes bible study, Sunday school, Foundations class, financial management and additional classes to be added. This ministry will also co-ordinate conference training for ministry leaders. This ministry will strive to educate God’s people in various areas of our lives.

Usher Ministry

A Ministry Of Service

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand, I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalms 84:10

Purpose: To introduce worshippers to the church and are soul winners for Christ.

To help the Pastor make the service a success by putting the congregation in the right frame of mind to receive the message.

To greet the worshippers with a pleasant smile, a warm welcome and direct them to comfortable seats.

To assist all the other ministries in the church.

To be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord and guard the door during service.

Now Faith Pastor’s Aide Ministry

Purpose: This ministry under the auspices of the Administrative Staff will provide assistance to the Pastor as well as the Minister of Music during services at home and away.

Prayer Ministry

Purpose: This ministry will service the Prayer Box and lead the Prayer Meeting each Wednesday night at 7:15 p.m. before Bible Study.

Music Ministry

Purpose: This ministry led by the Minister of Music will provide music for all services at home and away. It consists of:

Purpose: This ministry will co-ordinate Church out-reach to community and works to make sure each ministry (Men’s, Women’s, Youth, Couples, Single’s) complete their outreach projects for the year. Feeding the Homeless, Clothing Drive, Holiday gift baskets, ect..
